Dino Monteverde

Hi everyone! My name is Dino Monteverde, and I am a commercial real estate agent at Starboard CRE who specializes in hospitality investments in California and throughout the United States.

I am a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines and served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2006 to 2014. I began my real estate experience in residential mortgage, then shifted to starting my own hostel business in Tacoma, Washington, which I expanded to four other locations before selling the company in 2020.

I took a brief pause teaching English in Japan and traveled throughout Southeast Asia. While in Japan, I also invested in property and started a holding company for future investments. Now back in San Francisco, I’m studying Japanese part-time intending to advise clients in both the United States and Japan. I have also been admitted to Cornell University and plan to start a Master’s program in Hospitality Management in the fall of 2023.

My dream is to re-invent the hotel and co-living space by providing luxury amenities at a budget price. This will include short and long term stays and provide much needed affordable housing. I hope to build a community with the spirit of traveling and connect people from all over the world. I plan to start in Asia and work my way to the U.S. But first, I will start by raising capital from helping investors trade hotel assets.
